Silver Sheen Obsidian is a striking stone with brown or black hues, with a stunning contrasting silver sheen that constantly changes depending on position and light. This sheen effect is caused by tiny inclusions of trapped water from volcanic explosions that stretch flat across the layers of the stone. When light hits a polished surface, these bubbles reflect it, creating a shimmering, metallic luster known as chatoyancy or aventurescence.
Like all Obsidian, it is considered an incredibly powerful protective stone, believed to create a shield against negative energy. The silver sheen, similar to a mirror effect, acts as a mirror for the soul and is said to enhance self-reflection and insight, helping users to see the truth, uncover hidden motivations, and confront fear or denial.
Cats often symbolize independence, intuition, protection, and mystery, often acting as messengers or guardians. Their presence can be seen as a call to trust your intuition, embrace self-reliance, and find a balance between solitude and connection. The symbolism of the cat shape pairs with the silver sheen obsidian to create a powerful stone that can help protect against negative energy while also embracing independence. Silver Sheen Obsidian Mini Cat is the perfect stone to use while meditating or during manifestation practices, or in a room or office to help promote clarity and truth, and protection against negative energy.
